Hello my friends,
It’s Day Six of Black “Girl” History Month. Today I would like to celebrate Dr. Marie Daly.
Dr. Daly was born April 16, 1921 in New York, New York. She was the first African American woman to receive a Ph.D. in chemistry in the U.S. Her work opened the door for advanced dietary research by proving a connection between food/diet and heart/circulatory system health.
